I've been photographing people, products, food, farms, gardens and places for clients for almost 25 years, and for myself for my entire life. I am equally comfortable in the executive suite or in the barn, with CEOs and lawyers (I used to beee one, as Mrs. Doubtfire says), celebrities, any kind of animal, laborers and children of all ages and stripes. I adore all dogs, and take them seriously. Having worked on farms (I've milked more than my share of cows!) I can discuss with farmers the advantages of a two shift per day milking schedule vs three shifts, or all aspects of the organic paradigm.
Living and traveling the world with my eyes, being a working photographer for this long, I consider myself very lucky. The image is the king, all else is ancillary.
Whether photographing private homes of all scales, landscape designer work, interiors, products and people from all walks of life my clients consistently say how much they appreciate the clarity and ease of working with me.
So that is who I am. Who are you and how can I help tell your story? My capabilities include full production work with sets, crews, lighting and models on location or in the studio right on down to doing a few simple, well-defined shots within a tight budget.
I also found myself in the vanguard of the editorial photographers asked to document weddings starting in the late 1980's which mushroomed into the popular (take your pick) "candid"/"editorial"/"documentary"/"photojournalism" style of wedding photography that is now the desired method of capturing these joyful events. I accept a limited number of these assignments each year for discerning clients.
